Sometimes the bigger news from a camps is the players that don't workout, but still show up to talk with the coaches. A player that brought smiles to the coaching staff''s faces on Monday was Richmond offensive tackle Carter Wall. The 2011 prospect made a brief appearance to the afternoon Houston session yesterday, talking with Coach Adrian Klemm and June Jones privately.

"To be honest, Coach Klemm and I really just shot the breeze. We talked a little about recruiting, but more just about football and what was going on with me," said Wall. "He is so laid back. I have never met a coach like that...My coaches are hardcore, so I don't know if playing for a coach like that would make me better or not."

The soon to be senior has cleared double digit offers with schools from the Pac-10, SEC, Conference USA, MWC, ACC, and Big 12 coming to the table. Currently his offer list includes: SMU, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Baylor, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Memphis, Utah, UNLV, Virginia, and Houston.

At 6'5, 270 pounds, Wall listed three schools when asked about his favorites.

"I would say right now SMU, Missouri, and KU are the ones that stick out," said Wall to PonyStampede.com on Monday night. "My meeting with Coach Jones went really well as well. We just talked about my recruiting a little. He said they really want me at the Hilltop."

Wall has camped at TCU and Texas A&M so far this summer. He plans to try to visit a couple of his offers this summer with unofficial visits, including Missouri and Kansas.
