Nicho Garcia has been committed to Colorado State since May of this year. Now, as the season moves toward its end, Garcia could be considering other options.
The 6'5, 290lb offensive lineman from Highland CC in Kansas took an official visit to Southern Miss earlier this season, and as he's seen the team push for a conference championship, he's certainly considering the Golden Eagle program.
"I've been leaning toward Southern Miss these last few days," he told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"I feel like its the place to be and I want to be a part of the turn around that Coach Monken is having."
Garcia said he will be a May grad and plans to enroll in the summer of next year.
"I want to have my final decision made by mid-December," he said.
For now, Garcia is still committed to Colorado State.
