Jordan Kunaszyk, LB, from American River JuCo in Sacramento, CA, got a visit from Southern Miss assistant Coach John Williams today.
Coach Williams had some good news for the talented prospect, who is just a freshman but will qualify and graduate in May.
"I got an offer to Southern Miss today," Kunaszyk told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"I'm real excited about it. Coach Williams came to my school and we talked for a while and we talked about me going on a visit in January."
He talked about what the offer meant to him.
"I'm a May grad so I'm a 3 for 3 transfer," he said. "It is a great opportunity to play for a great school that is on the rise. They had a great year this season and getting better."
Southern Miss is not the only school interested in him.
"UNLV has offered me and I'm in contact with a good amount of schools," he said.
"I'm in serious talk with Oregon State and Texas State too."
Right now, he favors the two that have officially offered him.
"With Southern Miss and UNLV being my only true offers right now, I'm excited about those two and they are my top for now," he added.
We will keep up with Kunaszyk and his possible January visit. Stay tuned.
