Southern Miss has once again hit the state of Florida and offered talented LB Ja'Varius Harrison.
The 6'0, 215lb talented middle linebacker has all the tools and work ethic that will make him a success at the next level. With offers already in hand to Troy, Temple, UAB, and Samford, the Golden Eagles of Southern Miss also threw their hat into the ring.
"I think the Southern Miss staff saw I could really fit into their defense," Harrison told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"They said they like my aggressiveness, the speed I play with, and my ability to read plays."
Harrison said he's still learning about the Southern Miss program.
"I really don't know a lot about them but I'm going to do my research," he said.
"My biggest thought is how is their education going to be there? I want a place with a high education because that is my priority."
For now, Harrison said he's working on gearing up for his big senior season next season for North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee, FL. The impressive school has been one that has produced a lot of top prospects.
Harrison is working hard so he can be the next.
"Spring is going well, right now I'm just working on my team and leading them," he said.
"I'm working on becoming a better athlete. I want to become stronger, faster, and smarter. Most importantly, I want to be a leader on and off the field."
