The Southern Miss recruiting base continues to expand. Under Coach Hopson and staff, the Golden Eagles have offered prospects from the New England area, midwest, south Florida, and all over Texas as well.
One San Antonio prospect from Roosevelt High School (5'9, 175) took trips to both Tulane and Southern Miss, and took in Saturday's scrimmage in Hattiesburg.
"I really loved it," 2017 ATH Bryson Carroll told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"It was a very nice campus and I love the rich football tradition they have."
Already holding an offer, Carroll said that his time was focused on just talking with the coaches and getting to know them better.
"I talked with all of the coaches," he said.
"We talked about the team, all about the program and about where they see me fitting in to the program."
Carroll is a great athlete who can play anywhere on the field. He's seen time at QB, RB, and just about anywhere on the field where he can utilize his speed and explosiveness.
The talented ATH also has offers to Tulane, Kansas, Navy, Army, Bowling Green, and New Mexico.
