Travion Clayton is a huge 310lb offensive guard from Baker County HS in Glen Saint Mary, Florida.
The talented big man just picked up an offer to Southern Miss, his third now. He's also been offered by Kent State and Charlotte, though he has many other interests and is sure to add more.
He has a full summer ahead where he will get a lot of looks, and he wants to get a look himself at the Southern Miss campus.
"Other than workouts for me, which I'll be doing a lot of this summer, I really want to attend the USM campus," he told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"I also have a lot of other camps to attend, but that is one campus I want to see."
Clayton said the Southern Miss coaches were very high on him when they made the offer.
"They said they really wanted me to be a Golden Eagles," he said.
"They want me to play for them. Also, they would be all over me during recruiting. At the end of the conversation, he said keep working hard and finish strong so that I can end up as a Golden Eagle.
"It is a great program. It is close to home and that's good. I love the coaches, and I believe they have nothing but good things in store for the upcoming seasons."
