Jaylan Jenkins is an explosive offensive player who can just about do it all. He'll be the signal caller for his high school, Clay HS in Green Cove Springs, FL, but he projects as a slot WR at the next level.
His knowledge of the multiple positions will certainly help him at the next level. With great quickness and explosive speed, Jenkins has already picked up several offers and certainly has more to come.
"My summer is really going great, I'm working on getting bigger, stronger and faster," he told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"We start school summer work outs next week. I'm also working on my vision as an offensive player."
Jenkins recently picked up an offer to Southern Miss. He already holds offers to Georgia State and Troy, but he's hearing from FAU, Middle Tennessee, and Appalachian State.
The Southern Miss staff was very impressed with him, too. Enough to extend him an offer.
"He said he and the head coach were really impressed with me on how I was able to perform and still manage to compete at a high-level in the hot Florida weather," he said.
Jenkins said he plans to take a visit to Hattiesburg next month.
