Louis Paul Smith talks about his time on campus at Southern Miss..

One of the top prospects in the state of Mississippi for the class of 2019 is Louis Paul Smith, offensive lineman from D'Iberville HS.

The talented lineman recently took in a Southern Miss Elite camp this past weekend and offered his detail of the camp.

"I had a blast at the camp," Smith told GoldenEaglePride.com.

"Coach Hopson greeted me as soon as I got there.  Coach Lindsey did as well.  I also spoke with Coach Wright, the coaches talked to me all day."

Smith, who will be perhaps the top lineman in the state for the class of 2019, holds one offer to Kentucky Christian right now.  He said the experience was an opportunity for him to continue to show what he can do.

"I feel like I did really well," he said.

"It is always great to get a chance to get out there, compete, and show what I can do."

He'll continue to work as he goes through the rest of the summer.

"I just have more camps, team workouts, and practices on the schedule for now," he added.
