Will Wallace of Cathedral HS in Natchez, MS, picked up his first offer in the spring to Southern Miss. The talented 6'4, 260lb TE has recently seen that list grow as his summer goes along. He's camped with several schools this summer and has helped draw the attention of coaching staffs.
"My summer has been going good," he told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"I've been working out a lot and I've visited Ole Miss, MSU, Arkansas and Tulane."
On his visit to Tulane, he picked up an offer. He's also been offered by FAU and UAB. Mississippi State has also shown a lot of interest in him after he had an impressive camp in Starkville.
Southern Miss, his first offer, still remains a leading school for him though.
"I really like Coach Hopson a lot, we've really hit it off," he said. "They are still very high on my list."
When it comes to a commitment, Wallace is trying to balance his decision with weighing all his options.
"I do want to see how things play out, but to be honest I know I can't wait to long," he said.
Wallace said he plans to visit Southern Miss later in the summer because he wants to see all the renovations since he's last been there. He also said he hears on a regular basis from the Golden Eagle staff.
