Jaylan Jenkins is a talented WR from Clay HS in Clay, Florida. Though small in stature at 5'10, 170, Jenkins is explosive and plays with tremendous heart. He's not afraid to make the tough catches across and middle and can also take any opportunity to the house.
He's also been hearing a lot from the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. Though he's hearing from others, USM seems to be standing out to the talented receiver.
"It's been all the same schools who've been recruiting me in the past couple of months but Southern Miss has been the school that's been with me better than anyone else has through the whole process," Jenkins told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"They've been pulling me closer, and now I'm just ready to see how wonderful this school actually is on my visit."
His visit will happen on the 15th and 16th of this month. His recruiting has been handled by Dan Disch, who has certainly made a huge impression on him.
"Coach Disch has been recruiting me, he's been a good coach through the process," he said.
"He has even formed a good relationship not only with me but also my family."
Jenkins also claimed Southern Miss has his leader right now in his interview. It will be interesting to see if he makes the pledge to the Golden Eagles on his visit. Stay tuned!
