Louis Paul Smith will be one of the top offensive lineman in Mississippi in the class of 2019. He's already making waves with his play on the field this year, and there is certainly more to come for this talented prospect.
He picked up an offer last summer from the Golden Eagles after a very impressive showing at their camp, and has maintained a close relationship with the staff through the fall. He also took an unofficial visit to Hattiesburg to see the game against Savannah State.
"Complete annihilation!" Smith said after the game.
"It was awesome. I started with the Eagle walk, and man that just gives you chills. Then they brought me upstairs into the Duff Center and I was able to hang out with Coach Wright, and Coach Hop. Then we all went to the field, it was really exciting."
He was also impressed with what he saw from the Golden Eagles.
"They were throwing those defensive guys around like rag dolls," he said. "The O-line has really gelled and the run game is unstoppable right now. I was so pumped I could have suited up and played tonight."
He hopes to return before, but he knows for sure he'll be attending the Louisiana Tech game as well.
Here are some highlights from his first three games of the season: LINK
