La'Andre Thomas is an outstanding athlete, a sleeper in the state of Mississippi, who is quietly leading his high school (Wingfield) to make a run in the playoffs.
Thomas can do it all, he's played QB, RB, and WR for his team. This year, he took over as QB and hasn't looked back. The talented 6'1, 185lb prospect is happy to be playing football anywhere he can.

Thomas has an inspiring story of one who has come from a tough situation that very few could imagine, to one of the state's prospects to watch in the class of 2017. His past has been his fuel to propel him upward, and he's certainly making the most of every opportunity.
Southern Miss offered him back in June when they saw his potential, and they've been proven right through his play on the field this year.
"My season went great," he told GoldenEaglePride.com. "We have made the playoffs and I'm at 44 TD's right now. I just want to do whatever I can to help my team win."
Is Southern Miss, the first team to offer him, still in the picture?
"Yes sir, they are still the leader for me," he said.
Though he hasn't been able to get in for a game, he was hoping to visit last weekend but was unable to make the trip, he still maintains they are his top school.
"I don't have any visits lined up anywhere right now to be honest with you," he said. "I just want to make it through this season and focus on my team and the playoffs. Then, I'll worry about recruiting."
He'll certainly be one to continue to watch as the season ends up, and Southern Miss looks like they'll be right there in the hunt for him.
