Antonio Moultrie, DE/DL from West Florida High School, took his official visit to Southern Miss this past weekend. The talented athlete was already committed to Southern Miss, and used this weekend to get an idea of what life would be like at the college level.
No trip to Southern Miss would be complete without great food, and Moultrie certainly did not go hungry.
"I'm a big boy and big boys gotta eat, so Southern Miss did a really good job with that," he told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"They fed me a lot of good food. I've seen the facilities at least seven times and it excites me every time. It feels like the first time I'm seeing them.
"My host was Ladarius Harris. He's another defensive lineman like me so we clicked instantly. He's one funny dude, and he introduced me to all the other teammates and students."
Moultrie went on to talk about his time and excitement he has of coming to Southern Miss.
"My favorite part of the visit was just the visit itself," he said. "Just the fact that I was in southern Mississippi, my future home was enough. I get chills every time I visit.
"It is a wonderful place, and I advise all recruits to make their way over there."
The 6'3, 265lb DL talked about what the coaches had to say to him, too.
"Coach Nick and Coach Tony see me as a dual threat guy like Dylan Bradley," he said. "He said that's one of the main reasons why he liked me, because I'm very versatile on the field."
