Kelvin Stokes (K.J.) is going to be a big time player at the next level, and schools are really starting to get in on the talented defensive end from Stanhope Elmore HS in Milbrook, Alabama.
The 6'3, 230lb defensive end just recently picked up his latest offer from Southern Miss. He also holds offers to UAB and Troy, but he has several more very close.
"Southern Miss told me that they really like me as an athlete and that they can't wait to get me over there on campus," Stokes told GoldenEaglePride.com.
"They were my second offer. Troy was my first, and UAB has also offered.
"I feel like Southern Miss is a good school and a really solid program."
Stokes is also a talented basketball player who just finished up his season.
"Now that basketball is over I've been just grinding for football," he said. "I have fun playing basketball, but I just use it to keep my quickness and footwork."
Stokes said he plans on attending USM's Junior Day in a few months.
