Apopka (FL) CB Jarvis Ware is another in a string of talented prospects the Golden Eagles are trying to get in on from the Sunshine State. Once again, they are the first offer to another big time talent. The impressive number of prospects they signed from Florida last season is evidence that their desire to get more into Florida is making a difference.
GoldenEaglePride.com caught up with the talented Ware (6'1, 175lbs) to talk about the latest developments.
"My first offer to Southern Miss meant a lot to me, it was really special," he said.
"They told me that they wanted to offer me and that they really want to keep in touch with me."
Ware, who is a rising star as a cover corner with good size and ball skills, says it is his role to be one others can follow on his team.
"I feel like I'm a good teammate and I motivate others to compete," he said.
"I feel like I'm a leader on the defensive side of the ball."
Ware also added that he hopes to attend Junior Day at Southern Miss. He is also hearing from Central Florida.
