Louis Smith talks about his time on campus

Class of 2019 prospect Louis Paul Smith took a visit to Southern Miss today for Junior Day, and he talked about it with GoldenEaglePride.com..

Louis Paul Smith will be one of the top prospects in the state of Mississippi in the class of 2019, and he's been very vocal on social media about his excitement of the Southern Miss program.

The talented OL prospect from D'Iberville talked with GoldenEaglePride.com about his visit to Southern Miss today, and his chance to meet Coach Losey for the first time.

"I was so impressed with everything I saw today," he said.

"I loved Coach Losey and I always enjoy Coach Hopson and Coach Lindsey.  I thought the offense looked great today, they were really moving the ball and looked good."

Smith picked up an offer to Southern Miss last summer, and has maintained a great relationship even though he still has another year and a half of high school.  There is no doubt, USM will be right there as one of his top choices.

"Coach Losey said he can't wait to have me up at camp," Smith said.

"He also talked about where he is from and his coaching background. Only thing he was disappointed about was the fact that my black eye wasn't from a bar fight (from 1 on 1s at The Opening).

"There is a reason that he always bring the JUICE!"

Smith also let us know when he does graduate, he'll be an early enrollee.
