"My recruiting is going good, and right now I am still weighing my options," Perry described about the recruiting process. "I want to decide before the summer is out. I took my ACT and I want to see how that went before I see where I am heading."
He stopped short of naming a leader, but is very high on Southern Miss, the first team to offer the talented running back.
"I like Southern Miss a lot; I plan on going to some camps this summer," he said. "They had one two weeks ago but I was not able to go, but I'll hit one this summer."
The spread attack has attracted many offensive weapons since Coach Fedora arrived, and Perry is no different.
"I love the offensive scheme they run down there," he said. "They run the spread and I really like that offense."
When asked about the type of player he is, his answer was simple. "I would describe myself as a hard runner, that is the best way to describe me."
Perry has plans to make a stop at Mississippi State this week before coming down to the Hattiesburg campus again for a camp later in the summer.
