Voeller partook in the usual junior day activities during his trip.
"They took us around the campus, which was nice, and we got to meet all of the coaches," he said. "We watched their spring practice, we got to talk to the players and we got to see the dorms."
Although much of Voeller's contact with Stanford prior to the visit was conducted through his regional recruiter, Randy Hart, the lineman spent more time with his potential future position coaches, Mike Bloomgren and Ron Crook, on the trip.
"They both seem really nice," Voeller said. "I can see myself working with them."
Voeller also hung out with several current offensive linemen, and met several other recruits during his visit.
"I met some of the people from Utah, from Washington, from Baltimore, from all over the place," Voeller said.
Before departing, Voeller and the other recruits listened to a presentation by Stanford outside linebackers coach and admissions liaison Lance Anderson about the Stanford admissions process. Voeller seemed undaunted about the prospect of completing a Stanford application.
"It's worth it," Voeller said. "If you can do that, then you can get into Stanford and have a great degree from Stanford."
While he was in the Bay Area, Voeller also visited Berkley, and was impressed with Cal's program.
"California was good too," Voeller said. "I liked the coaches at Cal too. The campus at Cal was different, but I still liked that. And also they just got new facilities, really cool facilities."
"I think a few schools are pretty even," Voeller said. "But I just got an offer from Nebraska, and I hadn't heard from them in a while. I'm pretty interested in them and just started talking to them. There are a lot of schools that are equal."
Voeller said he would ideally like to make a commitment before his senior season, but may take some official visits in the fall if he's not ready.
"I'd like to commit before my senior season," Voeller said. "If I'm not ready, then I can just take official visits until I'm ready."
