Stanford Cardinal Flips and Signs 4-Star Safety Andrew Pryts out of Pennsylvania

The flips keep on coming for the Cardinal.

In recent weeks, after some concern arose about apparent academic casualties,  Stanford was able to flip four-star offensive lineman Devery Henderson from Michigan, cornerback Obi Eboh from Texas, tight end and Under Armour All-American Scooter Harrington from Boston College and wide receiver and former Rice commit Paxton Segina, David Shaw was able to add a four-star safety in Andrew Pryts, who had previously been committed to Penn State.

Pryts is a physical safety who stands at 6’2”, 195 pounds. Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn said Pryts “accelerates and plays downhill extremely well, and he reads play in front of him well. He has good length and change of direction, and he has the ability to close while the ball is in the air”.

The Semper Fi All-American is the eighth ranked safety in the 2016 class.
