Stanford offensive lineman Joshua Garnett was taken by the local San Francisco 49ers in the first round.
Now, in the sixth round, the Cardinal has it's second offensive lineman taken. The Green Bay Packers selected tackle Kyle Murphy with the 200th pick.
Murphy, like Garnett and 2015 first round pick Andrus Peat, saw time as a freshman and is an experienced lineman at the Pac-12 level. Murphy spent time as both a right tackle and left tackle and is considered a "polished pass blocker" according to Pro Football Focus.
This is the second Stanford player selected by Green Bay in this year's draft. Cardinal linebacker Blake Martinez was a fourth round selection by the Cheeseheads.
