Elijah Molden uses his brain and brawn when on the football field.
He is meticulous with his preparation and prides himself on finding a mental edge over his opponents. At The Opening, Molden was able to put that skill set on display with Team Alpha Pro in the 7-on-7 competition. If a play wasn't going on, Molden was more than likely directing the rest of his defense on the NFL coverages the team was running.
Molden announced his top-four schools earlier this month: Stanford, Oregon, Washington and USC. The son of former Ducks defensive back and first-round NFL selection Alex Molden said he would like to have his decision made by December.
To Scout national recruiting director Brandon Huffman, this could be a two-horse race between the Ducks and Cardinal. While Oregon has the family ties, don't count out David Shaw.
"Stanford is that school that continues to break up family legacies if you will because families like to see their kids go to Stanford," Huffman said.
In the video above, hear from Molden break down his top-four and explain his approach, along with some highlights from his workouts.
