The high school coach of Kaden Smith breaks down a few All-American Stanford commits.

Plus, a West coach who has developed some of the best skill guys in Arizona shared his thoughts on Cardinal tight end commit Colby Parkinson.

Flower Mound Marcus (Tex.) high school football coach Gerry Stanford is familiar with the Stanford program. He coached former Stanford defensive lineman and current Arizona Cardinal Josh Mauro, and Stanford freshman tight end Kaden Smith was making plays for the Marauders just last year.

Stanford, who was an assistant for the U.S. Army All-American West team, got to see some future members of the Cardinal firsthand in San Antonio. Coach Stanford worked directly with current Cardinal tight end commit Colby Parkinson and got to see offensive tackles Walker Little and Foster Sarell up close.

Sarell committed to the Cardinal during the game, and Coach Stanford was able to provide his thoughts on Parkinson, Little, as well as an update on Kaden Smith’s first year with the Cardinal.

Additionally, Scottsdale Saguaro (Ariz.) head coach Jason Mohns, who coached Texas A&M receiver Christian Kirk, Arizona State running back D.J. Foster and Washington cornerback Byron Murphy, ran the West's offense. He shares what makes Parkinson stand out.
