The Stanford 2017 recruiting class is full of playmakers, and Cardinal fans have a lot to be excited for.
Every Stanford commit was on-campus for an official visit three weeks ago, along with six undecided recruits. Since then, five of them have committed to the Cardinal.
Wednesday, this group will put pen to paper and make it official. Here are a few things Stanford commits are looking forward to on The Farm:
Wide receiver commit Osiris St. Brown on this offensive class:
"I think we are going to be amazing. Obviously, we have two of the best offensive linemen (Foster Sarell and Walker Little)...(Davis Mills), just having him as a quarterback, that's a guy that can get the ball to any receiver. I think we are going to do very well offensively."
Center commit Drew Dalman on fellow offensive line recruits Foster Sarell and Walker Little:
"From my high school, I was kind of used to be in the big lineman, but being next to those guys makes me feel pretty slim and a little bit petite. That was funny and they are both great guys. It's just awesome knowing I am going to be with two hard-working guys that have similar goals in mind. All of us know what Stanford does with their offensive line, so we were all fired up and we are excited to get in to that mode of working hard."
Offensive tackle commit Foster Sarell on working with Walker Little:
"I think we already do push each other just from a competitive edge because we always want to improve off of each other as well as critique our mistakes for both of us."
St. Brown on getting to talk with current Stanford players:
"We asked them what the hardest thing was coming in as freshman. They basically all said learning the playbook, so I think we are going to try to learn the playbook as soon as we can get it and definitely study it a lot...If you don't know the plays, you don't have a chance of playing. I think that's what we are all going to do, so if we get the plays down, we are all going to do what we always do and that is ball out."
