It didn’t take long for West Hills Chaminade (Calif.) wide receiver Michael Wilson to commit to the Cardinal.
He knew they were interested and thought with a good ACT score, the Cardinal could offer. Instead, Stanford offered him on March 21st. Eight days later, Greg Biggins reports he committed to the Cardinal.
He takes the ACT on April 8th.
Wilson is a big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-2 and 178 pounds who is an impressive pass catcher, but also takes pride in his blocking.
He was one of the blockers for recent Oklahoma commit TJ Pledger, who recently transferred to IMG Academy, who rushed for over 1,800 yards with Chaminade last year.
In his junior season, Wilson caught 70 passes for 1,278 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He is the third commit of the 2018 class, joining quarterback Jack West and running back Justus Woods. Wilson held offers from ASU, Cal, Iowa State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, Purdue, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington and Yale.
