ScoutTV: Byron Faison

A name hot on the recruiting radar right now is South Carolina combo guard Byron Faison. The Crestwood High School junior broke onto the national scene in April with his AAU performances, but we are still getting a handle on the 6'1" high-rising athlete. We are excited to present this new ScoutTV footage of Faison's high school junior season, which shows off his vertical prowess.

Faison is one of the top breakout athletes in the 2006 class this spring, which has schools in the SEC, ACC and Pac-10 scurrying to his attention.  He has strong interest currently from schools like Kentucky, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, North Carolina State, Florida State, Georgia and Stanford.  The 6'1" combo guard is an explosive athlete who can rise above the rim and bomb from deep.

Here are some highlights from his high school junior season at Crestwood High School.  The opening clip shows his dramatic game-winner at rival Lakewood.
