A holiday vacation weekend for most, Scout.com's Chris Fetters spent his time driving across the state of Washington to reach Spokane, for coverage of the 2005 East-West Summer Classic. Stanford incoming freshman Tavita Pritchard was on display for the East squad Friday night at Central Valley High School in the Spokane Valley. The Cardinal quarterback should by all rights have been on the West squad, by logic of geography, but he was right at home in the land where his father and uncle played their college football. Pritchard led the East squad in a decisive 31-14 win over the West, throwing three touchdowns and wowing many in attendance. The top highlight play was a 75-yard touchdown throw to Andy Largent, who is headed this fall to Washington State.
After his prolific performance, Pritchard was more than happy to talk on camera about the evening's events, as well as what he has ahead of him at Stanford.
