Bootleg Video: Nick Frank

There has been no greater emphasis from Walt Harris in his public and private comments the last few months than the need to improve the running game. A big piece to that puzzle is newly converted fullback Nick Frank. Fall camp is just underway, but the Stanford junior has much to say about his start to the preseason and his overall adjustment to the offensive side of the ball, which he shares with us on camera.

Frank talks with The Bootleg during the opening week of Stanford's 2005 fall camp, his first as a fullback.  The junior is adjusting to life on the offensive side of the ball after two years on the defensive line, but he tells us that it is a positive change for him.  His body is better suited to this position, and he is starting to feel more natural with his movements and the playbook.  Here more on all this, plus his personal challenge in the running game, his eye-popping carries we saw last spring, and more.
