Bootleg Video: Anthony Kimble

Redshirt freshman Anthony Kimble has practiced a total of just seven days at running back at Stanford. He spent the entirety of last fall and all but one day of that spring at wide receiver, but he looks like a veteran with his playmaking runs the last couple days. We caught up with Kimble after his successful scrimmage Saturday afternoon to talk about his whirlwind experience at tailback thus far.

Kimble talks with The Bootleg following Saturday's afternoon practice, which included the first live tackling of this 2005 fall camp.  Kimble earned Walt Harris' praise on Friday with some shifty moves to evade tackles, and he followed up Saturday afternoon during the live scrimmage with more eye-catching runs.  The redshirt freshman has just a handful of practices he has experienced at running back in college, after he switched on the last day of the spring from wide receiver, but he is looking the part of a contender - if not a frontrunner - for the starting tailback position right now.  Kimble talks all about it with us on camera, including what he still needs to do to make himself a better running back.
