Bootleg Video: Nick Sanchez

The biggest (and maybe only) question Stanford fans have had for the defense in 2005 has been the secondary. Replacing three graduated seniors now in the NFL is a tall order. Nick Sanchez has grabbed the new cornerback job with improvements in his technique and consistency. Hear about his evolution, help from teammates on defense and offense, preparation for Navy, and more...

Sanchez is Stanford's answer to the question: "How to replace Leigh Torrence/Stanley Wilson?"  The redshirt sophomore is filling big shoes but has risen to the challenge and held down the second starting cornerback position since the middle of the spring.  He talks with The Bootleg about what he has done to improve himself as a cover corner in winning that job.  Sanchez also discusses the help he gets from position mate and senior T.J. Rushing in learning his craft, as well as the benefit he enjoys from trying to cover Evan Moore every day in practice...
