Rydstedt talks with The Bootleg following Saturday's mock game in Stanford Stadium.  The redshirt freshman was coming into this 2005 season with a big challenge in front of him: part of the defensive line rotation at left defensive end.  An injury during fall camp to fifth-year starter Casey Carroll instead has pushed Rydstedt into a starter's role.  Just two years ago this young Swede was playing American football in a land with little care for the game.  Now he is days away from playing and starting his first Division I college football game...
