Bootleg Video: Walt Harris Post-Navy Presser

The highs and lows of Saturday night's season opener at Navy were mirrored by Walt Harris in his post-game press conference. Injuries were a topic of unpleasant conversation from the Cardinal head coach, but he remained upbeat about what his team showed in their first game of 2005. Check out every moment of Harris' Q&A in Annapolis.

You have read and heard a lot from Harris the last nine-plus months since his hire, but all of those comments and quotes looked ahead to the season.  Now for the first time we get a look at Stanford's head coach after his team has played a football game.  The Bootleg is excited to bring you every second of the Cardinal coach and his press conference following Saturday night's season opening win at Navy.  Harris talks with genuine pleasure about much that his team gave in Annapolis, while also addressing some areas where he can already see need for improvement.  And flying in the face of what the Pittsburgh fans and media proclaimed when Harris came to The Farm, the head coach delivers unprompted self-effacing comments about some coaching playcalls where he misfired in his Stanford debut.
