Bootleg Video: Clare Bodensteiner

As fans have looked ahead to this year of Stanford Women's Basketball, it has been hard to find all the firepower and leadership to replace the departed five seniors. However, one often overlooked piece of the puzzle is Clare Bodensteiner, now back on the court for the Cardinal after a redshirt season. Stanford needs the 5'9" guard to break out, and she is carrying the confidence that she can deliver.

Cardinal fans have gone long enough without seeing Bodensteiner play on the court that this interview may feel like a "Where Are They Now?" piece.  The forgotten guard from Rupert, Idaho took a voluntary redshirt last winter and now returns to Maples Pavilion for her junior year of eligibility.  With her skill improvement and her leap forward in leadership, the 5'9" veteran is ready to break out.  She sat down with The Bootleg in Maples Pavilion after a practice on Thursday to help update fans on all the team's and her latest.
