Bootleg Video: Anthony Goods

The depth of guards and wings for 2005-06 Stanford men's basketball is both complicating and delightful. How does 6'4" freshman Anthony Goods find a role amidst that talent? Watching him play the last couple months with his new Cardinal teammates, Goods' jumpshot offers a hint. He talked yesterday with us about his off-season work, college adjustments, and his new Stanford family.

While Stanford returns a good number of playmakers from last winter, the Cardinal are excited about the three freshmen who have joined the team.  The man who fans know the least of what they should expect may be Goods, a 6'4" 195-pound shooting guard from Corona (Calif.).  He has gripped our attention thus far this fall with not just his perimeter jumper, but also his engaging personality.  Goods professes to be "shy" on camera, but we think he came across well when he took some time during his off day Tuesday to talk with The Bootleg.
