441 yards and six touchdowns in a single game is unthinkable, but Gerhart racked that up this month against Corona (Calif.) Centennial - Brian Head's old high school. If you are not familiar with Inland Empire football, Gerhart was not running against a pushover in Centennial. The Huskies were ranked #5 in the state at the time, having just knocked off then-#2 Clovis West the previous week. Centennial had defeated Norco three straight years before Gerhart reversed fortunes in the 42-21 win, outscoring his rival opponent all by himself with 36 points.
