Bootleg Video: Jon Alston

You will be hard pressed to find a more passionate, emotional and committed player on this Stanford Football team than fifth-year senior Jon Alston. A leader for the Cardinal, through both actions and words, he is an honest barometer for the state of the team. The senior sackmaster talks with us one-on-one about the mentality of both him and the team headed into three big games.

The Stanford defense took their lumps last weekend in Los Angeles against USC, but Alston tells us to not count them down-and-out.  He talks about the psyche of his teammates after a pair of difficult losses, as well as their focus on the "three-game season" in front of them.  Alston also speaks a little on the variety of roles he has played as an outside linebacker in the Cardinal's 3-4 front this fall...
