Bootleg Video: Michael Craven

No player on the Stanford roster has elicited as much fan obsession as Michael Craven. The #1 linebacker in America coming out of La Quinta High School five years ago, Craven came to The Farm with astronomical expectations. He should be filled with disappointment and regret, but the fifth-year senior instead talks about the maturity and growth he has gained, plus a chance to still finish his college career strong.

It has been reviewed enough times already.  Craven carried lofty expectations to The Farm, but injuries and personal failures left him short.  That does not stop the fifth-year outside linebacker from relishing the position that this Stanford Football team currently enjoys, on the cusp of what would be a first bowl game for the seniors.  Craven talks about his attitude toward his current role on defense and special teams, and his reflections upon the rocky road of the last five years that brought him here.  You might expect a rash of regrets from the one-time prep superstar, but he expresses none.
