Bootleg Video: T.C. Ostrander

Just months ago he was locked in a battle for the starting job, but today quarterback T.C. Ostrander is near the end of a season where he has appeared in four games and thrown 29 passes. We talked with him this week about his reserve role, but the Peninsula product would not complain. He is humble toward is learning curve, while at the same time being excited about the tutelage and offense under Walt Harris...

This was not what he had planned, after signing with Stanford out of high school as one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the nation, but Ostrander today is taking a back seat in the quarterbacking of the Cardinal offense.  He has yet to start a game this fall, and only twice has he been inserted into action in non-injury relief.  The limited snaps in both games and practices should frustrate the redshirt sophomore, but he does not complain - even when we give him the chance in front of a camera.  Ostrander talks about his role, where he is trying to improve as a quarterback, the meaning of the Big Game and more.
