Bootleg Audio: Trent Johnson Preseason (III)

We are now just hours away today from the 2005-06 regular season opener for Stanford Men's Basketball. Before today's game, make sure you give a listen to this third and final installment of Daniel's in-depth sit-down interview with second year head coach Trent Johnson. Stepping away from the current roster, Johnson talks about the nature of the recruiting beast, plus his love of the Sixth Man Club.

The first two installments covered all corners of the current Cardinal roster and makeup, but the latter minutes of the interview here move on to other subjects close to the heart of Cardinalmaniacs™.  Johnson speaks frankly about unique challenges of recruiting at Stanford, not in an apologetic fashion but rather matter-of-factly.  He winds down the interview speaking with great emotion and sincere appreciation for the courtside student support group at Maples Pavilion: the Sixth Man Club.
