Bootleg Video: Cal Post-Game

The 2005-06 Stanford men's basketball team and season are starting to round into form - better late than never. The Cardinal collected their third straight win Friday night with a 75-61 victory over Cal that featured big games by Chris Hernandez and Matt Haryasz. Taj Finger also quietly did a nice job in a tough defensive assignment. They and Trent Johnson talked afterward about the team's best game yet this year.

Raise your hand if you thought Finger would have a game against California's vaunted frontline worthy of a place in the press room.  He was a key part of the job defending and rebounding against the league's best frontcourt, with Stanford stunningly winning the rebounding margin 35-27 Friday night.  The big offensive nights came from Hernandez, who simply could not miss from the field, and Haryasz, whose energy carried the Cardinal through several stretches.  They praised teammates and the preparation during the week for setting up a successful evening at Maples Pavilion.
