Bootleg Video: Peter Prowitt

The last time Peter Prowitt was thrust into the starting lineup for an injured Matt Haryasz, the 6'10" center delivered with 12 points, six boards, two steals and a pair of blocks. Haryasz' eye injury again puts Prowitt in the spotlight for Stanford's game against the big frontcourt of Cal. The sophomore talks about his own injury recovery, his approach to the matchup, and more.

Injuries are a part of basketball, and Stanford has learned that several times over this year (and last).  Matt Haryasz is sidelined with his third serious injury of the season, and the timing could not be worse with the Pac-10's best frontcourt awaiting the Cardinal at Cal.  Prowitt answered the call a month ago for Stanford, and the bell is ready to ring for the big sophomore at Haas Pavilion tonight.  He talked with reporters this week about his readiness and approach to the challenge, as well as his overall progress he is making this year.
