Bootleg Video: Anthony Goods

After his 13 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes last week, Anthony Goods is a hot topic of discussion currently for Cardinalmaniacs™. The freshman guard has spent much of the year in a role deep on the bench, which could have frustrated the youngster. Instead, he talks about understanding what he has to improve and how he has learned from his experienced teammates.

He always carries a big smile with him, but the grin has an extra glow for Goods on the heels of his help he gave off the bench last week up at Washington and Washington State.  A bad illness for senior teammate Dan Grunfeld thrust the 6'4" freshman into his biggest roles of the year, playing a combined 36 minutes.  His offensive rebound and put-back to win the game in Pullman was the crown jewel moment for Goods this season, and he talked today about his excitement.  The freshman also talked about the learning experiences he has drawn this year, playing behind and practicing against veteran teammates while he has shored up some areas of his game.
