Bootleg Video: Tara VanDerveer

Within minutes of receiving Stanford's #3 seed for the NCAA Tournament, head coach Tara VanDerveer sat down to talk about the state of the Cardinal heading into the Big Dance. She explains why the chemistry of this team makes them a joy to coach, makes an eye-catching comparison with a team of the 1990s, and details why recent practices have left her excited.

The Cardinal head coach talks about what Stanford learned from its loss last Monday in the Pac-10 Tournament championship game, how those lessons have been applied, and what the last week of practices have been like.  VanDerveer also talks about a "light" coming on for Brooke Smith, the competitiveness of Candice Wiggins, and how this team can be compared to the 1992 National Championship squad.
