Bootleg Video: Jayne Appel

The players arrived Saturday, and Sunday marked their first full day of activities this McDonald's All-American week. 6'4" center and Stanford signee Jayne Appel talked after the Sunday practice about her teammates, getting into the swing with a new team, visiting the Ronald McDonald House and more.

Appel is more than just a big-time talent; she also has a big-time smile.  Get to know her a little bit better through this video interview The Bootleg conducted with the Concord (Calif.) Carondelet High School senior after her first McDonald's All-American practice Sunday afternoon.  She talks about playing with future Cardinal teammate Michelle Harrison, excitement to see Stanford advancing in the NCAA Tournament, her challenge against a super-sized East squad, the importance of visiting kids at the Ronald McDonald House, and more.
