Bootleg Video: Greg Reynolds

Friday night felt like Stanford Baseball. A warm evening at Sunken Diamond saw hot performances on the mound and at the plate from the Cardinal in a 7-1 victory. Stanford's 13 hits and seven runs against #16-ranked Arizona State should be your headline, but Greg Reynolds stole the show with his three-hitter against the potent bats of the Sun Devils. The 6'7" junior happily talked with us after his first career complete game.

Would you rather see Stanford heat up at the plate, rapping five extra base hits and scoring seven runs?  Or see Greg Reynolds toss his best game of the season, with a three-hitter against one of the Pac-10's most potent hitting teams?

The smiles around Sunken Diamond on Friday night from Cardinalmaniacs™ were matched by that of Stanford's pitching ace.  He was excited after throwing the Cardinal's first complete game of the year, and talked with The Bootleg about what he had working for him on the mound.  Reynolds also commented on what this complete performance by the slumping Cardinal means to Stanford's morale and momentum.
