Bootleg Video: Carter Todd

There were a handful of intriguing pass catchers on the Cardinal recruiting board who attended today's Stanford Nike Camp, and one who we really liked in his position drills and one-on-one competitions was wide receiver Carter Todd. The Merced (Calif.) High School standout caught the attention of several college coaches, including Stanford's Tucker Waugh. We caught up with the 6'2" wideout afterward to talk about the combine and recruiting.

He was disappointed at the end of the day due to his combine testing, but Carter Todd has no reason to hang his head after how he performed on the field.  The 6'2" wide receiver is an obvious athlete, with an easy stride and great fluidity running routes and catching the ball.  This was his second combine in seven days, after putting on a show at the Los Angeles Combine last Sunday.  He talked after today's work about the benefit for him in attending these combines, as well as the latest on his recruitment.  Todd already attended a Junior Day at Cal and will be back to Stanford for their Junior Day tomorrow - after he tends to an engagement tonight back in Merced...
