Stanford survived and advanced Tuesday night in the opening round of the 2006 CBE Classic, with a 73-52 win over San Jose State at Maples Pavilion. Youth was once again on display for the Cardinal, with its three players scoring in double figures all freshmen or sophomores. We chatted afterward with USBWA Hall of Fame writer and Scout.com national basketball columnist Frank Burlison, who sees marked changes in many of Stanford's players.
