Bootleg Audio: Burlison at CBE Classic

It is fortunate that Long Beach State is playing at the Stanford regional of the CBE Classic. That brought Long Beach Press-Telegram writer and our good friend Frank Burlison to Maples Pavilion. After watching the new-look Cardinal for the first time this fall, Frank shared his thoughts with us after Tuesday's win over San Jose State, plus a preview of Stanford vs. Air Force in the second round.

Stanford survived and advanced Tuesday night in the opening round of the 2006 CBE Classic, with a 73-52 win over San Jose State at Maples Pavilion.  Youth was once again on display for the Cardinal, with its three players scoring in double figures all freshmen or sophomores.  We chatted afterward with USBWA Hall of Fame writer and national basketball columnist Frank Burlison, who sees marked changes in many of Stanford's players.  Listen in for Frank's early thoughts on Anthony Goods, Landry Fields, Mitch Johnson, Lawrence Hill, Robin Lopez and more.  Plus weaknesses to watch, and how the CBE second-round game between Stanford and Air Force might go down.
