Bootleg Video: David Green

You have been reading all week about his daily events on the practice field, both kicking and punting, at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Now you can see Stanford-bound David Green talk on camera about his experiences in San Antonio. The #1-ranked kicker in the country by has his hands full handling placekicking and punting duties for the West squad, but he's loving every minute of it.

Sure, his leg is getting quite a workout.  The challenges adjusting to kicking field goals off the grass rather than a tee are weighty as well.  Plus there is the weight of a Stanford program with all eyes on him come Saturday as he represents the Cardinal in the 2007 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

He should be a nervous and tired wreck, but Mission Viejo (Calif.) High School senior kicker/punter David Green is having a ball this week in San Antonio.  If you don't believe us, then watch this five and a half minute video interview he gave Wednesday afternoon with recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman.  Green talks about practices have fared this week, loving the Alamodome, preparing for Saturday's game, looking forward to Jim Harbaugh and why an inch is a big deal.
