ScoutTV: Quinn Evans (CB)

He just recently jumped onto the recruiting radar with his breakout performance earning Defensive MVP honors at the San Francisco Scout.com Combine. Next followed an offer from Stanford. Now we provide a closer look at cornerback Quinn Evans from Chandler (Ariz.) with seven minutes of highlights from his junior season. See his speed, quickness, playmaking and tackling on full display.

Though he is playing this fall at Chandler (Ariz.) Basha High School, cornerback Quinn Evans put together an impressive highlight package as a junior last year at nearby Hamilton High School.  The 5'10" athlete was a big part of the Huskies' defense that won a 5A state championship.  Evans this month picked up a Stanford offer and has the interest of schools across the country.  To see why, check out these seven minutes of highlights from his 2006 season - primarily on defense, though with a few splashes of ankle-breaking on offense and special teams.

"He's got very good speed and is quick to the ball," says Scout.com West recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman.  "He really has a nose for the ball.  He hits surprisingly well, given his size.  He's a good tackler, too"
