Stanford fans are thirsting for more information and insight into quarterback Andrew Luck, the #6-ranked quarterback in the nation according to Scout.com. Luck has verbally committed to the Cardinal, sending to Stanford the best signal caller in the state of Texas.
Slaking the thirst for those who want to see with their own eyes what kind of passer and athlete the Cardinal have corralled, we present some video of Luck playing on the road at Spring High School during his junior season. The Lions feasted on the Stratford offensive line and made life miserable for Luck in the backfield, not unlike the experience seen in recent years for Cardinal quarterbacks.
"He is being hit by three guys constantly on pass rushes because he has no offensive line," says Scout.com Texas recruiting analyst Alan Zepeda, who filmed the video from the sideline. "He's still making plays, still making passes and still breaking runs. He is just one of those guys who has a will to win that you can't teach."
Also below is a set of highlights from Luck's junior season, with two and a half minutes of clips of the Stratford slinger slicing and dicing opposing defenses.
