ScoutTV: Luck Talks Cardinal Commitment

What benefit does the verbal commitment of Andrew Luck pay off for Stanford? The Houston (Tex.) quarterback is still a year away from suiting up on The Farm, but the nationally acclaimed recruit is already creating buzz for Cardinal Football at every turn. At last week's Texas 7-on-7 State Championship, Luck was the spotlight slinger. En route to the title game, he discussed his Stanford decision.

All eyes last week in College Station (Tex.) were on Andrew Luck.  Not only is the Houston (Tex.) Stratford High School senior quarterback ranked #6 in the nation by Scout.com, but also he was an immensely impressive performer at the Texas 7-on-7 State Championship.  High school players, coaches and fans alike at the Lone Star State's passing tournament were chattering about what a gem Stanford has landed.

Luck made his verbal commitment a couple weeks earlier to Stanford, and Alan Zepeda of TexasPrepInsider.com pulled the future Cardinal quarterback aside during the 7-on-7 tournament to ask him to break down how he made his college decision.
